Rental conditions long stay

Are you looking for (temporary) accommodation for a longer period of time? These conditions are valid for bookings of 8 weeks or more.

The following terms are valid on bookings of more than 8 weeks.

 All our bookings are excluding: charges for electricity- and/or gas for light and heating, usage of water.

 Reservations & Payment

Your reservation, solely via e-mail, will be confirmed by e-mail. You pay the rent of the period of the first 4 weeks, the deposit and the obligatory final cleaning within 14 days of the receipt of the booking. The deposit is equal to the price of the first 4 weeks rental. The rent for the next period must be paid 14 days before the start of the new period. At all times the rent must be paid before arrival.

 Credit cards

For payments by credit card the following charges are added to the invoice amount:

Mastercard: 2,6%, Visa: 2,5%, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Union Pay and VPay: 3,45%.

 Cancellation

Cancellations have to be notified to us by e-mail. If a reservation is cancelled, you will be charged a compensation of:

 15% of the total rent for more than 3 months before the commencement date;

·         50% of the total rent within 2 to 3 months before the commencement date;

·         75% of the total rent within 1 to 2 months before the commencement date;

·         90% of the total rent within 1 month before the commencement date;

·         In case of premature termination of the rental period, no rent will be refunded.

 We recommend a cancellation insurance.

 Reservation costs

The reservation fee is € 45,00 per reservation.

 Cleaning

 We charge a mandatory final cleaning per reservation. The costs for this depend on the bungalow type. With a long lease, one of our employees checks the bungalow every 4 weeks for any damage / defects. If the bungalow is not properly maintained by the tenant, the bungalow will be cleaned by our cleaning company in consultation with the tenant. The costs of cleaning are at the expense of the tenant. If the bungalow is delivered by the tenant with overdue cleaning, we will charge extra costs for the final cleaning if necessary.

 Deposit

The deposit is equal to the price of the first 4 weeks rental. After verification of the bungalow for damage and/or defects, the deposit will be refunded on your bank account within 10 days after your departure.

 Pets

Bringing a pet is allowed (max. 2 in consultation). You must state this when booking the bungalow. € 2.75 per pet will be charged per day. We also charge extra cleaning costs for a stay with pets. Leaving your pet alone in the bungalow is not permitted if it causes nuisance and / or damage. Dogs and cats must always be on a leash outside the 

bungalow. Cats that go outside are required to wear a collar with a bell.

 Local taxes

 Our rental rates are exclusive of local taxes (€ 1,90 per person, per night).

 Electricity, water and gas

If you rent a bungalow for a long period, we will send you a 4-weekly invoice of all costs that have been made during your stay (electricity and/or gas and water). This invoice must be paid within 7 days.

 Linen

Renting a bed linen package is not obligatory, but the use of bed linen is. If you do not rent bedlinen there will be no duvets and pillows available in the bungalow. Towel and kitchen linen packages can be rented separately (including weekly or 2-weekly change). It’s also possible to bring your own towel and kitchen linen. 

 Bed linen package per person, consisting of: 1 pillow-case, 1 sheet and 1 duvet cover. Price: € 12.50

·         Towel package per person, consisting of: 1 big towel, 1 small towel, 1 washcloth. Price: € 7,50

·         Kitchen package per bungalow, consisting of: 2 dishcloths, 1 kitchen towel, 1. Price: € 5,00

 Temporary option

After a minimum booking of 8 weeks, it’s possible to get a temporary option for extension of your stay for a certain period. If you need a temporary option, please inform us at the time of reservation.

 Arrival

The bungalow will be at your disposal on the day of your arrival from 15.00 hrs. We expect you between 15.00 and 17.00 hrs. In case of arrival at a later time or on another day, please notify us in advance. (+31 35 577 3000 or info@egelshoek.nl)

 Departure

On the day of departure the bungalow must be clean and tidy before 10.00 hrs. This implies removal of bed linen, removal of food from kitchen and refrigerator, no dirty dishes and deposit of garbage bags in the garbage can next to the front door. When this hasn’t been done, we are forced to charge extra for the cleaning.

 Rent,  additional

We assume that during a long stay you will be responsible for the replacement of lamps, vacuum cleaner bags and the like.

The staff of Egelshoek Park BV is also entitled to enter the bungalow during your absence for checks and/or repairs.

We charge costs for damage, loss or theft of park property. If a key gets lost, we are forced to install new locks. It is not allowed to place a satellite dish near your bungalow. Per cottage a maximum of one motor vehicle is allowed on the parking lots. Trailers, caravans, campers and the like are not allowed on the park. Vans and motorcycles are only allowed on the car park in front of the barrier.In case you want to take a lot of stuff with you: after consultation, a bus may come to load and unload during reception opening hours, (small) trucks are not allowed on our park due to the infrastructure.

Finally, certain matters can also occur at our park due to extreme circumstances. In extreme emergencies, due to these unforeseen circumstances (for example, due to fire, storm damage or the like) we cannot fulfil our obligation to rent out a recreational bungalow to you. We are not liable for the costs of your stay elsewhere in such emergencies.

The RECRON-terms also apply on this terms of long period lease.
