In this statement we will explain how Egelshoek Park B.V. collects data and what we do to protect these data as best as possible.

When we talk about we, us or our in this statement we mean Egelshoek Park B.V., registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 59236345 and located in Hollandsche Rading. When we talk about you or your, we mean you as a visitor of this website or user of our services or products. Finally, we often refer to our website as 'egelshoek.nl'.

This statement is partly about the platforms on which we collect data, so it may be that some of the information is somewhat technical. We collect data in different ways

We collect data from you as a customer or user of our website in two different ways. We do this not only in the foreground but also in the background. The two points at which we collect data are as follows:

At contact moments
If you contact us, we also store a small amount of data. Depending on the chosen contact option, we may store your e-mail address, telephone number and/or ip address. This data is only used to provide feedback when applicable.

When renting recreational places and houses
Through our website, by mail and in our location through reservations, we store your data. In addition, our security cameras record images of the recreation park. Unless otherwise stated on location, you will not be linked to images. By order of the police we can choose to hand over images. For reservations we store the following data:

• Full name
• Company name if applicable
• Address details
• E-mail address
• Telephone number
• Date of birth
• Passport number
• Copy of passport
• Bank account number

When renting recreation pitches and park management

We store your data via e-mail and personal contact. In addition, our security cameras record images of the recreation park. Unless otherwise stated on location, you will not be linked to any images. By order of the police we can choose to hand over images. For the purpose of the contracts and for billing purposes, we store the following data:

• Full name
• Company name if applicable
• Address details
• E-mail address
• Telephone number
• Date of birth
• Copy of passport

What do we use these data for 

In order to be able to provide our services, we store the previously mentioned data about you. We also use the data for the following purposes:

• Correspondence
• Securing a booking
• Paying out the deposit

We also use the contact information from your request to be able to identify which person and/or company we are dealing with, so that we can respond quickly and properly.

Finally, the data is used to provide proof of payment if relevant and certain data may be used for the tax return required by law.

How long do we keep data / cancellation

Website data will be kept for a maximum of 2 years but this is not directly linked to you as the data is anonymised. Customer data is stored for 7 years.

Would you like to know what data we have from you? If you have previously purchased services from us, this can easily be requested by sending an e-mail to our customer service. Usually you will receive a response three days later containing all the data we have linked to your e-mail address. Do you want to cancel completely? Let us know through our customer service and all data that can be linked to you will be deleted.

By law, you have the right to be forgotten, which means that we cannot keep your data unnecessarily.

External parties

RV Trading, AICN, Prosuco en Twinfield

RV Trading is our ICT partner and ensures that our automation functions optimally.  AICN provides our (online) reservation programme and Prosuco manages our website. For our financial administration, we use Twinfield's online accounting software.  

They have their own privacy statements which we actively check. Should they relax their privacy standards to the detriment of our clients, we will let them know via this statement or, in our opinion, terminate the relationship.

Google
We use Google Analytics to measure the performance of our website. Google has its own privacy statement which clearly states that data that is collected is the property of the organisation, which in this case is us. Should the privacy standards be relaxed to the disadvantage of our visitors, we will let you know via this statement or terminate the relationship as we see fit.

Facebook
With the Facebook pixel on our website, we measure which users come to our website in order to better tune our marketing campaigns. Should the privacy standards be relaxed to the disadvantage of our visitors, we will let you know via this statement or terminate the relationship as we see fit.

Where is your data and how is it secured?

We store data encrypted in the Netherlands. Should it happen that data gets into the hands of people who are not linked to our organisation through a leak or hack, we will inform our users. We also report such cases to the Dutch Data Protection Authority as required by law.

Cookies

We use 'cookies' to collect information about you and your activity on our website (egelshoek.nl). A cookie is a small piece of data that our website stores on your computer and is called up every time you visit our website or one of its pages. This allows us to better understand how you use our website and to display content based on your preferences in the future.

We do not knowingly store data of children (visitors or users under the age of 13). However, if you believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to delete the data as soon as possible. This does not apply to our night register, however, children are listed there together with their guardian or the adult responsible for them.

Business transfer

In the scenario that we or our inventory is seized or we go bankrupt, your personal information may be transferred to a third party. Users will be informed of this and agree that this is an option. A new privacy statement may result.
